What To Do If The HD96 Surface Freezes – Recover Steps
If a module on the surface of the HD96 freezes, there is an option to reboot it without having to restart the mixer.
Go into Update Manager and then select Surface Update.
In the bottom left hand corner of the page, there will be a button which reads ‘Reboot Surface’. To activate the reboot requires a long press of the button. Continuously press the button until the line makes its way all around the outside, at which point the surface will begin its reset procedure.
Audio is not lost when rebooting, and the surface will return to the exact state that it was in pre the reboot.
The surface reboot will take around 5 seconds.
